Technical Architect

The Technical Architect will design and oversee the target state architecture for Parts Town, ensuring alignment with 
business goals and scalability requirements. This role requires expertise in system integration, infrastructure design, 
and platform rationalization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed assessment of the current technology landscape, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Develop a high-level target state architecture aligned with business objectives and future growth.
- Evaluate platforms and technologies for rationalization and integration, ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the technical team to build a phased technical roadmap for implementation.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance in the proposed architecture to meet enterprise standards.
- Provide technical leadership to resolve complex challenges and align solutions with strategic goals.
- Prepare technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, system requirements, and integration designs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions and maintain competitive advantage.
- **Work in alignment with customer operating hours to ensure timely collaboration, issue resolution, and stakeholder availability.**
- **Leverage expertise in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions.**
**Communication Skills:**  
- Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.  
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts.  
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technical architecture or enterprise systems design.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and system integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of platform rationalization, security best practices, and modern development frameworks.
- Proven track record of designing scalable, high-performance architectures for large organizations.
- **Extensive experience in cloud architecture, including designing hybrid or multi-cloud solutions.**

 Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 64,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 224,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
