Supports DIRECTV’s Project Management Framework by maintaining standards, templates, documentation, dashboards, governance processes, and project tracking. The intern reviews project artifacts, monitors milestones and risks, documents lessons learned, supports framework adoption and onboarding, and contributes to process improvements and responsible AI-enabled productivity initiatives. This is a 10-week remote internship for candidates with full U.S. work authorization.
Position Summary
The Commercial Sales Operations Project Management Intern will support the continued development, adoption, and governance of DIRECTV's Project Management Framework. Working alongside Project Managers and business stakeholders, the intern will help enhance project management standards, maintain framework documentation and templates, promote consistent project delivery practices, and support governance activities across Commercial Sales Operations initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the ongoing development and enhancement of PM Framework standards, templates, and best practices.
- Maintain project management artifacts, including fact sheets, BRDs, project workbooks, kickoff presentations, and launch readiness documentation.
- Support framework adoption by helping project teams utilize approved processes, templates, and governance standards.
- Review project documentation for consistency, completeness, and adherence to framework guidelines.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and key deliverables.
- Develop reporting and dashboards to measure framework adoption, project health, and documentation compliance.
- Document lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices to continuously mature the framework.
- Support onboarding and guidance for project teams using framework tools and standards.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Interest in project management, governance, operational excellence, AI, and process improvement.

Program Details
- Duration: 10-week remote internship (This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.)
- Program Dates: 6/7/27 – 8/13/27 or 6/14/27 – 8/20/27
- Eligibility: Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
- This position can earn $20 - $28 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers. (Undergrad $20 per hour; Grad $28 per hour.)
