About MenEngage Alliance

MenEngage Alliance is a global network of organizations dedicated to helping men and boys explore positive and equitable answers to the question of what it means to be a man—to discover pathways to purpose, fulfilment, and happiness in their own lives, while stepping up as allies for women’s rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and broader social justice causes.

Overall vision for the role

From fast-changing media and political narratives, to the complexities of the digital ‘manosphere,’ the global discourse on masculinity is at a pivotal turning point. We are seeking a creative communicator who is deeply immersed in these cultural and political trends and possesses the technical expertise to translate them into strategic digital action.

As Communications Officer, you will tap into the collective wisdom of the world’s largest civil-society community dedicated to engaging men and boys in gender equality. You will support the team in leveraging our collective influence to shift narratives and social justice outcomes across media, policy, and public discourse.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role is designed for a storyteller and coordinator who is driven by the 'how' of male engagement and deeply committed to the radical reimagining of masculinity for the benefit of all.

If you have a passion for applying intersectional feminist thinking to the subject of men and boys, and the skill to translate that insight into high-impact, relatable communications that shape the public conversation, this role may be for you.
