The RoleAs the Complex Director of Sales, you will lead the sales and revenue-generating efforts for both the Homewood Suites and Springhill Suites in Carle Place, NY (Long Island Area). You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, foster client relationships, and maximize occupancy, ADR, and overall hotel revenue. Working closely with property leadership and regional partners, you will drive market share growth while maintaining exceptional customer service and brand standards. Based on the style and structure of the attached template.
What You Will Be Doing• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue for both hotels
• Identify, solicit, and maintain relationships with corporate, group, government, SMERF, and leisure accounts
• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, networking, prospecting, and community involvement
• Maintain existing client relationships and grow market share within key segments
• Conduct hotel site tours, client presentations, and sales appointments
• Negotiate contracts, group agreements, and rate proposals to maximize profitability
• Collaborate with revenue management and property leadership to optimize pricing and inventory strategies
• Analyze market trends, competitive data, and sales performance to identify opportunities for growth
• Prepare and manage annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and action plans
• Represent both hotels at industry events, trade shows, chamber events, and community functions
• Ensure accurate sales reporting, account management, and CRM database maintenance
• Partner with operations teams to ensure successful execution of group and corporate business
• Lead, mentor, and support sales team members while fostering a culture of accountability and performance
• Work closely with Marriott and Hilton brand resources to leverage sales opportunities and maximize business potential

What Makes You You• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales leadership experience, with multi-property experience preferred
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and revenue growth objectives
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales strategies, market segmentation, and revenue management principles
• Experience working with Marriott and/or Hilton branded properties preferred
• Exceptional communication, networking, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop strategic business plans and execute them effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Professional, dependable, and relationship-focused leader
• Willingness to travel locally throughout the Long Island and New York metropolitan markets as needed
Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to customer appointments.
