About the job:
  • Play a vital role in further building up Synpulse North America’s Insurance practice around strategic planning, digital transformation, and operational excellence topics by making key contributions to business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership
  • Identify opportunities, articulate Synpulse’s value, and contribute to the company’s growth by increasing sales and revenues through current and potential clients
  • Advise clients on business process issues and help identify, assess, and measure organizational capabilities
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to define future state visions and the prioritization of opportunity areas that deliver value across people, processes, data & technology while ensuring buy-in from clients’ senior management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, serving as a trusted advisor to the C-Suite of Insurance Carriers
  • Conduct market and trend analyses to support the business by identifying strategic opportunities for growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance landscape

Job requirements
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • At least 5 years of insurance (P&C, Life Insurance or Reinsurance) experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy, enterprise architecture, business development, or management function within an insurance company
  • Experience in Strategic Planning, Strategic Technology Advisory, defining Operating Models, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Data Analytics & Visualization, Enterprise/Business Architecture, Accelerated Underwriting or Post Merger Integration
  • Experience in managing multiple teams on complex projects while motivating team members to succeed
  • Account management experience, including an extensive network of senior leadership at insurance carriers
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in sales and project acquisition with an entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to learn
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as required

The salary range in New York City for this role is $70,000 - $130,000
