As consumers increasingly rely on recommendations from people and communities they trust, impact.com helps brands show up where it matters most. Today, over 5,000 global brands, including Walmart, Uber, Shopify, Lenovo, L’Oréal, and Fanatics, rely on impact.com to power more than 225,000 partnerships that deliver measurable business results.

Your Role at impact.com:

The world’s largest advertisers are rebuilding their creator programs around performance. They no longer want campaigns alone — they want an always-on operating system: a center of excellence with the strategy, compensation model, a scaled casting engine, a new measurement framework, and the internal muscle to run it at scale.

That is what you build.

As a Creator Consulting Manager, you are a member of impact.com’s Creator Strategy practice, designing and optimizing the most sophisticated performance creator programs in the market. You work directly with brand teams and their agencies — diagnosing what they actually need beneath what they’ve asked for, translating ambiguity into roadmaps, and then standing up in front of a room and teaching others how to run it. You are equal parts strategist, economist, architect, creative, innovator, facilitator, and teacher.

This is a client-facing, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on complexity, moves fast with demanding stakeholders, and wants to help define what performance creator marketing becomes over the next five years.

What You'll Do:

Design profitable programs that scale

  • Build and optimize end-to-end strategies for the largest performance creator (creator-affiliate) programs in the world, from initial thesis through research, audits, launch, iteration, optimization, and expansion.
  • Partner with enterprise advertisers to stand up creator centers of excellence — the governance, workflows, roles, and roadmap that turn a program into an institution.
  • Architect compensation strategies that motivate creators: tiered gamification balanced against flat fees, commission structures, performance bonuses, loyalty program integrations, and bespoke incentives tuned to each program’s economics.

Build the creator supply engine

  • Develop integrated casting and recruitment strategies spanning paid, earned, and owned media, with both inbound and outbound motions.
  • Design scaled vetting and brand safety frameworks that let programs grow without exposing the brand.
  • Design creator communications strategies and workflows — the cadence, channels, and content that keep thousands of creators informed, activated, motivated, and productive.

Make the creative perform

  • Build creative strategies that focus on affiliate-optimized formats, translating what converts on performance rails into briefs creators can actually execute.
  • Bring a working point of view on social and performance media trends, and pressure-test which ones deserve client investment.

Teach and enable

  • Plan and facilitate workshops, trainings, and enablement sessions for brand teams and their agencies — you are the person in the room, not just the person who built the deck.
  • Represent impact.com externally: conference stages, client executive sessions, panels, and webinars.

Partner across Creator Strategy

  • Work hand-in-hand with Creator Solutions on program management and operational execution.
  • Partner with Creator Relations and Creator Productivity on creator onboarding, coaching, and lifecycle programming.
  • Feed field learning back into the practice, so what you build for one client sharpens the team’s best practices playbook.

Measure, prove, optimize

  • Apply advanced measurement approaches — MMM, brand lift, sales lift, and MTA — to demonstrate incremental impact and guide reinvestment.
  • Continuously optimize how the work gets done, using better process design and AI to compress cycle time and raise output quality.
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience building complex, performance marketing strategies for demanding, fast-paced enterprise brands.
  • You’re comfortable being handed a vague directive and returning with a clear roadmap, requirements, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Extensive knowledge across performance marketing, affiliate marketing, and creator marketing, and fluency in the SaaS platforms that power them.
  • Working proficiency with leading performance creator platforms such as LTK and ShopMy.
  • Expert-level public speaking. You can hold a room of senior marketers and make a complicated idea land.
  • Expert-level workshop design and facilitation — you know the difference between presenting and facilitating, and you’re good at both.
  • Fluency in advanced marketing measurement: MMM, brand lift, sales lift, MTA.
  • Strong project management discipline across multiple concurrent, high-stakes engagements.
  • A process optimizer’s instinct — you notice friction and fix it rather than routing around it.
  • A genuine appetite for teaching. The best outcome of your work is a client team that no longer needs you in the room.
  • Thought leadership: you’re not just applying performance creator marketing best practice, you’re inventing it.

Nice to have:

  • Fluency in measurement technology and the vendor landscape behind it.
  • Hands-on experience with performance paid media.
  • Published writing, speaking, or original research in the creator or performance marketing space.

Why this role matters

impact.com sits on the affiliate rails that make performance creator marketing possible. The Creator Consulting team is how that infrastructure becomes strategy for the world’s biggest brands. You’ll shape programs that move real GTV, define methods the market hasn’t seen yet, and build the internal capability that outlasts any single campaign.
