About the role

We’re looking for a Content Editor, Partnerships to join Better Collective and help us serve as the bridge between partner content organizations.

In this role, you’ll collaborate across different contributors and content partners, contributing to building products and experiences at the intersection of sports, media, betting, and technology. You will be working with one of our leading platforms within Better Collective’s House of Brands. This team focuses on providing best-in-class sports betting content, products, and insights, reaching millions of sports fans and bettors worldwide.

What you’ll do
  • Serve as the primary editor for our sports content distributed to external partner websites.

  • Build comprehensive content calendars and coordinate with staff and freelance writers to ensure timely delivery of articles.

  • Format and edit high-quality articles for publication, keeping SEO best practices, affiliate partner conversions, and subscription product growth in mind.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between our brand and partner site editors and writers to facilitate seamless content syndication and integration.

  • Actively follow sports and sports betting markets to proactively pitch and create content that resonates with readers, rather than just reacting to news.

What we’re looking for
  • 2-4 years of experience writing and/or editing articles within a digital media environment (focusing on long-form articles rather than social media copy).

  • A strong understanding of SEO and how digital content is effectively distributed across platforms today.

  • Strong copy-editing skills combined with the communication and management abilities required to coordinate multiple external contributors (no direct reports).

  • A genuine passion for sports and a solid understanding of sports betting markets.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working on websites without traditional advertising, specifically converting users to affiliate partners or subscription products.
