Carry helps business owners & high earners build wealth through smarter tax optimization. We started with a Solo 401k for self-employed entrepreneurs and have since expanded into financial education, investment products, and integrated tax services.

Content is the engine that drives our entire ecosystem from attracting new audiences, educating them, and helping them move seamlessly from learning → planning → taking action with Carry.

About the role:

The Content Lead is a hybrid builder/operator who will set the strategy, create the content, and manage the team that turns ideas into scalable, revenue-driving output.

You will be responsible for transforming our founder-led content operation into a scalable, multi-channel, multi-brand media machine.

Our north star is to turn insight, education, and storytelling into a repeatable growth engine for our education, brokerage, and tax business lines.

At the heart of this role is a single truth: Content should be treated like a product.

That means architecting the systems, workflows, creative standards, and team structure that allow us to grow from ~50 pieces of content per week to 500+ pieces of content per week across social, newsletter, web, and promotional campaigns.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop quarterly content roadmaps aligned with revenue opportunities, customer insights, and business priorities.

  • Collaborate closely with our founder to extract insights, shape narratives, and repurpose ideas across formats and channels.

  • Write, direct, and edit world-class financial education content.

  • Lead and develop a team of freelancers, editors, designers, copywriters, and contributes to deliver high-volume, high-quality output.

  • Clarify and maintain brand standards across all platforms to ensure everything is produced in a tight, clear, compelling, and on-message manner.

  • Work closely with our Head of Growth to align funnels, launches, revenue, targets, and acquisition strategy.

  • Use data to refine content topics, formats, and cadence.

  • Maintain an aggressive publishing cadence while upholding clarity, accuracy, and creative excellence.

Who you are:

  • A storyteller with taste. You know what “great” content looks and feels like. You can write, edit, and concept content that stops people, educates them, and earns trust.

  • Deeply fluent in finance + tax concepts (or the ability to learn them quickly). We uphold the highest standard in conceptual accuracy as our audience looks to us for insights they can execute themselves or bring to tax pros.

  • A content creator who loves systems. You think in workflows, templates, and repeatable processes. When you post content, you know how to recreate the result over and over.

  • A collaborative leader. You can guide, coach, and manage creatives across time zones, cultures, and specialties while maintaining a unified editorial voice.

  • Comfortable with rapid iteration. You love testing ideas, analyzing performance, and improving content based on what what the audience actually cares about.

Compensation

  • Salary: $90,000 - 115,000
