Clearwater is seeking a Content Manager to lead the development of high-impact, narrative-driven content for a global audience of financial institutions. This is designed for someone who brings strong editorial judgment, technical fluency, and the confidence to shape how complex platforms and capabilities are communicated. 

You’ll be responsible for elevating Clearwater’s voice across blogs, long-form thought leadership, and social channels, translating sophisticated technology into clear, credible stories for senior leaders across insurance, asset management, and other financial services markets. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own Clearwater’s editorial program across blogs, long-form content, and social—setting direction, cadence, and quality standards 

  • Write and edit senior-level content, including: 

  • Thought leadership and executive POVs 

  • Deep-dive articles on platform capabilities, data, risk, reporting, and AI 

  • Long-form assets such as guides, briefs, and whitepapers 

  • Social content that reinforces Clearwater’s leadership and market perspective 

  • Translate complex technology into clarity, explain how modern platforms, data architectures, and AI-driven capabilities solve our clients' problems. 

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to ensure technical accuracy and market relevance without drifting into feature-led copy 

  • Collaborate across Marketing to align content with major initiatives, launches, and market moments 

  • Maintain editorial rigor: ensure consistency in voice, tone, structure, and positioning across all owned channels 

  • Elevate content quality across the organization, editing and shaping drafts from subject-matter experts and senior leaders 

What You Bring 

  • 8–12+ years of experience in content, editorial, or communications roles, with meaningful exposure to enterprise technology and financial services 

  • Demonstrated ability to write credibly about complex platforms, data, analytics, risk, or AI for sophisticated audiences 

  • A portfolio showing long-form, substance-rich content not just marketing copy 

  • Strong editorial instincts and comfort operating as the “final editor” on high-visibility content 

  • Experience working with product, engineering, or technical subject-matter experts 

  • Ability to balance strategic narrative with technical precision 

  • Understand SEO best practice by incorporating 

NYC salary range: $120,000 - $165,000 + bonus

London salary range: £70,000 - £90,000 + bonus
