Work Schedule: Standard business hours based on local time zone, Monday – Friday.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Contracts Counsel to join our Legal team, supporting our Real Estate Brokerage, Mortgage, and Title Services businesses. In this role, you’ll provide contract and marketing compliance review as well as strategic legal guidance across brokerage and title service operations, and related technology initiatives, helping ensure compliance while enabling scalable growth. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with a strong foundation in contract and real estate law.

This is a great opportunity to work cross-functionally with teams across legal, operations, and product to support innovative real estate solutions in a fast-paced environment.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and redline contracts with third-party vendors and partners.

  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across Company operations.

  • Assist with audits and provide legal support related to brokerage, mortgage, and title operations.

  • Assist with drafting and maintenance of Company independent contractor agreements and real estate and title transactional documents

  • Advise on regulatory matters that impact our business.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support and implement technology solutions within real estate, mortgage, and title workflows.

  • Assess and mitigate legal risks and support legal oversight of real estate, mortgage, and title operations.

  • Project tasks and project management responsibilities, as assigned from time to time

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and real estate law, as well as real estate brokerage, mortgage and title operations, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

  • Familiarity with technology platforms used in real estate transactions and operations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Active bar membership and in good standing

  • 5+ years of experience in contract law, real estate law, corporate law, or a related practice area

  • Prior experience supporting title services or real estate transactions strongly preferred
