  • Improve the Engineering operating model by clarifying priorities, decision rights, accountability, and cross-functional interfaces across teams.
  • Oversee enterprise engineering strategy, analytics, and insight generation to improve transparency, decision-making, prioritization, and performance management.
  • Advance digitalization and process improvement across Engineering to simplify workflows, improve execution, and strengthen internal effectiveness.
  • Drive AI-for-Engineering adoption and other strategic enablement efforts that improve productivity, insight, and delivery outcomes across the engineering organization.

  • Partner with CIOs, Engineering leaders, ESO, SPIN, AI Hub, Finance, People, Enterprise Sourcing, and other key stakeholders to align Engineering priorities with enterprise needs.
  • Support the broader Engineering franchise through scalable capabilities across business management, workforce management, vendor management, engineering finance, processes and tooling, discipline learning, and organizational enablement.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Engineering organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will bring significant experience leading enterprise technology strategy, engineering transformation, business operations, or chief of staff / COO-style leadership functions within a complex organization.

  • They will be equally comfortable operating at the strategic and execution levels, advising senior leaders, driving cross-functional alignment, improving management discipline, and building scalable capabilities that strengthen organizational performance.
