The Coordinator, Communications will be responsible for collecting and disseminating relevant clips to the network's internal database, as well as issuing FOX Sports press materials and announcements to the media. The Coordinator, Communications will play a significant role in maintaining/updating the network’s press website, which houses bios for on-air talent and executives as well as programming announcements, scheduling, talent announcements, and general press releases. They keep press and key influencer distribution lists up to date. Additionally, they pitch in on a variety of PR events. They also handle invoice payments and work with the team on budgets.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily press coverage reports
- Maintain press and influencer database; maintain press website
- Create press recap decks in PowerPoint/Canva
- Create itineraries for talent press events
- Contribute innovative and creative ideas to department brainstorms
- Assist the PR team with the design of press plans and materials
- Provide on-site support for press events as needed
- Handle department invoices
- Some administrative duties
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Understanding of the sports landscape, passion for sports media, and brand communications
- Solid functional understanding and experience using PowerPoint, Canva, and Excel, as well as social media tools including X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok
- Proactive nature and a willingness to pitch in when needed on team projects and events
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and a team player with a winning attitude
- Strong writing and organization skills
- Professional demeanor

- BA or BS in Communications, Sports Management, and/or Journalism

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.75-31.25 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
