About the role

*Open to hiring remote across the US — we also have offices in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.

We're looking for a Copywriter with a focus in Product Marketing to sit at the intersection of product marketing and in-product experience. This is not a brand or campaign role — it's a performance-driven, product-close writing role. You'll own copy across landing pages, lifecycle emails, ads, feature launches, onboarding flows, in-product messaging, and everything in between. You'll report to the Creative Director of Product Marketing.

Your work will directly shape how people discover, understand, and adopt Runway's products. That means writing copy that converts on a landing page, writing the in-product text that helps a user get started, and crafting the email that brings them back. You'll partner closely with product marketing, growth, design, and product teams — and you'll be measured on clarity, speed, and impact.

What you'll do
  • Write landing page copy, ad copy, and performance marketing assets that drive acquisition and conversion

  • Own in-product copy — onboarding flows, feature announcements, tooltips, modals, upgrade prompts, and CTAs

  • Write lifecycle and product emails — launches, re-engagement, onboarding sequences, and feature adoption

  • Own the narrative for launch videos and short-form product films, writing scripts, sharpening others' drafts, and making sure every frame makes the product's value clear

  • Partner with product marketing on positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market copy for new releases

  • Collaborate with design and product teams to shape the in-product writing experience

  • Write and iterate on A/B test variants across landing pages, emails, and ads

  • Translate complex, technical product capabilities into clear, compelling language for a range of audiences

  • Maintain consistency in product voice and terminology across all touchpoints

What you'll need
  • 4+ years of experience in product copywriting, growth marketing or a related writing role at a tech or SaaS company

  • A portfolio that shows range across performance marketing, product copy and in-product writing — not just brand campaigns

  • Strong instinct for conversion-oriented writing — you think in terms of clarity, action, and outcomes

  • Experience writing in-product copy (onboarding, feature education, UX microcopy) alongside marketing copy

  • Comfort working with data — you can look at test results, funnel metrics and engagement data and know what to write next

  • Experience partnering with product, design, and growth teams in a fast-moving environment

  • Ability to context-switch across multiple launches and workstreams without losing quality

  • Experience in AI, creative tools, or developer-adjacent products is a strong plus

Our office is located in Tribeca, surrounded by many art galleries and great places to eat. There are several subway stations near by for easy access. There is a Blue Bottle located a block away, and one of our office rituals is to walk there together after lunch to get coffee.
