The Copywriter drives ideation, narrative, and copy development for client and agency-led projects at Something Special Studios. From campaign taglines and product copy to style guides and brand messaging to content ideation, scripting, and more, the Copywriter is a versatile and gifted storyteller with experience writing compelling copy across various channels and industries. With strong attention to detail and editing skills, they maintain the highest standards of consistency and creative excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead copy for a variety of media, including print, digital, social, creative platforms, and content
- Contribute to ideation, development, and execution of integrated creative work, partnering with strategists and art directors
- Assist with brief writing
- Maintain copy quality control, editing, and proofreading work to ensure brand standards are met across all content outputs
- Lead creative assignments and own workstreams with minimal oversight
- Support in establishing brand guidelines and best practices
- Ensure brand consistency across messaging and communications
- Maintain a strong sense of current culture, trends, and talent
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of copywriting experience at an agency or brand
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Well-versed in concepting and executing different types of creative media (content, experiential, digital, etc.)
- Desire and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills
- The ability to balance multiple projects with multiple teams
