Corporate Controller
We are seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead all accounting operations for a growing multi-unit restaurant organization. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, cash management, internal controls, tax compliance, and audit coordination across restaurant and corporate entities.
This is a key leadership position for a seasoned restaurant accounting professional who can manage day-to-day execution while supporting executive-level decision-making and growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an accounting team of ~7
- Oversee all accounting functions and financial reporting
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Monitor cash flow, banking activity, and merchant processing
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and third-party financial partners
- Analyze restaurant labor, inventory, and operating metrics
- Support systems implementations, new openings, and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Significant restaurant or hospitality accounting experience required
- 7+ years of progressive experience or 3+ years in a Controller-level role
- Strong knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, and POS systems
- CPA a plus
