Job Summary & Responsibilities

Data Axle provides data, applications, and services that help organizations make and save money. Our commitment to accuracy, service and innovation drive customer acquisition, retention, and product enhancement. We are currently seeking a Marketing Account Executive.

 

This position is responsible for assisting in protecting Company legal interests and for maintaining operations within the scope established by law. This position will provide counsel to employees and executives.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Identify and analyze legal issues and contracts.
  2. Provide legal counsel in support of tactical and strategic business initiatives.
  3. Provide legal and regulatory advice to assigned business areas.
  4. Structure, draft, review, and execute key documents.
  5. Represent legal interest of Company.
  6. Manage outside legal counsel and determine cost effectiveness.
  7. Remain current of state and federal laws and regulations, as well as current cases.
  8. Review business plans, policies, and practices to ensure legal and ethical compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

  1. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and external contacts, while maintaining confidentiality in all related discussions.
  2. Must understand the functional interaction of all departments.
  3. Complete understanding of legal principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
  4. Ability to work well under constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
  5. Ability to develop advanced techniques, processes, and standards.

 

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  1. Bachelor's degree and successful graduation from an accredited law school is required.*
  2. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required*
  3. State bar membership, for state employed in, is required.*
