About Invisible

Invisible is an Applied AI research company closing the gap between frontier models and the enterprise. We provide the platform infrastructure that makes AI work in production at scale: unify fragmented data, map complex processes, orchestrate and evaluate agents, and stand up hyper-personalized workflow applications fast for companies like Grubhub, Alliance Global, and Thomson Reuters. Where models fall short, we build RL environments and data to fix them. The result: a virtuous cycle between enterprise deployment and model training.
Recognized as Best Predictive Analytics Platform of the Year at the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards, Invisible makes AI work.

About the Role

Invisible is seeking an exceptional Corporate Counsel to play a central role in navigating legal, corporate, and strategic matters at a rapidly scaling global AI company.

This is not a traditional corporate counsel role focused on routine legal execution. We are looking for a commercially sophisticated attorney who combines exceptional legal judgment with the ability to navigate complex matters.

Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, you will be a key member of the legal team and a trusted adviser to senior leadership, with meaningful exposure to the CEO, founder, and board. You will take ownership of legal matters spanning corporate governance, equity and capital structure, strategic transactions, international expansion, and enterprise risk.

We value demonstrated capability and judgment over years of experience alone. The defining qualities of the successful candidate include the ability to anticipate issues, challenge assumptions, assess legal and commercial considerations, formulate sound and defensible recommendations and drive matters through to resolution in collaboration with the CLO and executive leadership. The successful candidate will bring intellectual rigor, sound judgment, and a strong ownership mentality, with the confidence to operate as a genuine strategic partner to the business.

This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of corporate law, emerging technology, and executive decision-making.

What You'll Do

Corporate Governance

  • Advise on corporate governance matters, working closely with the CLO, CEO, executive leadership and Board on significant corporate decisions.
  • Take ownership of key legal workstreams supporting Board and committee activities, driving matters forward with sound judgment.

Capital Structure, Equity & Strategic Transactions

  • Take ownership of legal matters relating to the company's capital strategy and equity incentive programs, advising on structure, incentive arrangements, shareholder rights, and related legal considerations.
  • Partner with CLO, CFO and executive leadership on financing and strategic transactions and compliance with such arrangements.
  • Drive key legal workstreams in connection with strategic corporate transactions, including M&A, investments, restructurings, and other major corporate initiatives.

International Corporate Strategy & Expansion

  • Partner with finance, tax, and business leadership to evaluate and implement international expansion and operating structures, balancing legal, regulatory, tax and commercial considerations.
  • Advise on cross-border corporate matters and develop scalable legal frameworks to support the company's evolving global footprint.

Regulatory, Risk & Intellectual Property

  • Provide legal guidance on corporate compliance, privacy, export controls, foreign investment considerations, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Advise on intellectual property ownership, protection, and commercialization, including matters relating to proprietary technology, data, and strategic commercial arrangements.
  • Develop pragmatic, risk-based solutions that enable the business to pursue strategic opportunities while protecting its long-term interests.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on complex and novel legal matters, translating legal risks into clear business options and actionable recommendations.
What We Need
  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
  • 5–10+ years of corporate legal experience, including substantial experience at an Am Law 100 or equivalent firm. Demonstrated capability and commerciality matter more than tenure.
  • Deep expertise in corporate governance, capital structures, equity compensation, shareholder matters, financings, M&A, credit facilities, international restructurings, or other strategic transactions.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of high-stakes legal matters end-to-end, exercising sound judgment, delivering commercially defensible advice, and driving execution.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate competing risks, ambiguity, and fast-moving business priorities.
  • Thorough and extremely detail-oriented, strong drafting and project management skills.

Intellectual curiosity, initiative and ownership, with a low-ego, collaborative approach and willingness to balance strategic advice with hands-on execution.

Nice to Have
  • Prior in-house experience at a high-growth, venture-backed, private equity-backed, or global technology company.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI, SaaS, technology transactions, data licensing, intellectual property, and emerging AI regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience advising on cross-border corporate structures and coordinating legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
