Position Overview:
CECP seeks an intern to support the Corporate Leadership & Advisory (CLA) team in its efforts to help corporate leaders at affiliated companies connect with CECP content and evolve their corporate purpose strategies. The CLA team delivers an annual calendar of virtual and in-person events, provides customized strategic support through Advanced Advisory services, and leads CECP’s sponsored research efforts, Accelerate Research Projects. This internship will support our team to help convene, advise, and empower corporate leaders. The CLA intern will work with all team members and will report to Manager, Strategic Advisory with a dotted line to the Associate Manager, Events.
Responsibilities:
The Corporate Leadership & Advisory intern will:
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to update event campaigns and log post-event action points
  • Facilitate speaker engagement for two signature events, including scheduling prep calls, collecting and organizing speaker forms, headshots, and bios, and updating event materials and platforms with speaker information
  • Create a CEO directory for the CEO Board of Boards event
  • Support multiple, virtual Accelerator event series, including updating presentation materials in PowerPoint and posting to group pages to facilitate asynchronous learning
  • Conduct secondary research, editing, and other responsibilities as assigned for various projects and internal decision-making related to events, Advanced Advisories, and Accelerate Research Projects

This role is for you if you have:
  • Strong communication and writing skills, and ability to work independently
  • A high degree of initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Familiarity with scheduling apps (Calendly preferred)
  • Classwork or an advanced degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, corporate communications, corporate social responsibility, public policy, public administration or similar
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and interest in advancing CECP’s mission

Location:
  • This position is fully remote, but you must be a US Citizen currently living in the United States and throughout the duration of the internship. 
Duration:
  • This role will run from October 2026 through June 2027
  • Up to 10 hours per week
  • Option to attend CECP Summit as a volunteer (May 2026)
  • Estimated start date Oct 1, 2026
Compensation:
  • A stipend of $20.00/hour is offered to interns.
