The Corporate Strategy Manager is responsible for leading strategic projects, aligning with enterprise objectives, tracking metrics, supporting strategic reports, and developing relationships with stakeholders.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead development of high-impact, high-visibility strategic projects from planning through execution, aligning with enterprise strategic objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Structure and drive the programmatic implementation of the annual and multi-year strategic planning programs, ensuring alignment and engagement with stakeholders across the bank.
- Support quarterly strategic initiative progress reporting and production of quarterly dashboards including collection of data and providing qualitative commentary.
- Partner with business line leaders on developing, articulating, and monitoring business/strategic plans, including competitive/market assessment and cataloging capability and enablement needs.
- Track/collect month-to-month metrics related strategic and business plans, in partnership with Data & Analytics, Finance, etc.
- Prepare clear, concise, and impactful formal communications, including management presentations, briefing memos, talking points, etc. that articulate strategic objectives for executive-level audiences.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners across the company to deliver on strategic initiatives.

- Ability to pull out meaning from ambiguous or unstructured data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and distill key takeaways into clear executive-appropriate documents.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Effective influencing skills. Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior-level business partners and work with various levels of the organization.
- Fluent in financial language of banking industry, and well-versed in the needs, priorities, and cross-currents impacting the Regional Bank sector; as well as the specific opportunities and challenges impacting the Middle Market, Business Banking, and Small Business and Consumer Banking businesses.
- Strategic growth mindset and results orientation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, project management or strategy/finance role within the financial services industry.
Preferred Experience:
- Master of Business Administration. Experience with Banks.
