This role involves overseeing People operations, shaping employee experience, and driving strategic initiatives primarily across the UAE, The role provides leadership and guidance to a broad range of stakeholders across customer units, domains, and other functions. Knowledge of GCC regulations and practices is a plus.
What you will do:
• Lead & promote operational excellence through the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of People processes and policies across the country. Focus on enhancing workflow efficiency, system integration, and providing reliable, standardized People services.• Own the relationship with managers and employees and actively participate as a member of the Country Leadership Team. • Serve as the end-to-end accountable representative and ambassador of the People Function toward relevant stakeholders and country management .• Ensure compliance with UAE local labor laws, relevant authorities, and global & local directives. • Facilitate the local execution of organizational change initiatives and programs. • Offer insightful feedback to Country Managers , relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding critical local operational issues that influence strategic decision-making. • Maintain a positive industrial and employee relations environment by proactively fostering strong relationships with local stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and collaboration. • Demonstrate expertise in Employee Relations by ensuring compliance with local labor laws, managing investigations, grievances, and disputes, overseeing payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and implementing people strategies to foster a positive work culture and minimize risks. • Support and co-lead the execution of global and local People processes across areas such as Recruiting, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, People Planning & Analytics, and People Services. • Promote a safe, healthy, and well-being-focused work environment to enable employees to thrive both professionally and personally.• Perform other HR-related activities as assigned to support HR goals and initiatives, including participation in global HR projects and programs.
The skills you bring:
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources or a related field• Minimum 6 years of demonstrable experience in Human Resources/People Function, with excellent knowledge of UAE local labor law; GCC knowledge is a plus.• Excellent analytical and presentation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SuccessFactors, Degreed, Glint, and other HR platforms is advantageous• Excellent articulation and communication skills, persuading & influencing, proactive, delivering results & able to work in tight deadlines.• Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship building across diverse organizational levels.• Prior experience in Telecom or ICT industry, is a plus.• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
