We’re looking for a Creative Director to lead and evolve the Pair Eyewear brand across every touchpoint. This role will report to our VP of Marketing and sits the intersection of brand, performance, and product storytelling, shaping how we show up visually and creatively as we continue to scale.
You’ll be responsible for defining and driving our creative vision, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring everything we put into the world feels cohesive, thoughtful, and distinctly Pair. This is a strategic and hands-on role, you'll be setting the creative vision and roadmap one moment, and in the weeds giving art direction on a shoot or refining copy the next. From campaign concepting to execution, you’ll balance big-picture brand building with performance-driven creative that delivers results.
What You’ll Do
Creative Direction & Strategy
Define and evolve Pair Eyewear’s creative vision across all channels, ensuring a cohesive and differentiated brand
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Leadership to align creative strategy with key business goals and growth priorities
Campaign Development
Lead the concepting and execution of integrated campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels
Own creative vision and direction for photoshoots, video, product launches, and key brand moments
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing creative team across design, copy, content, and production
Provide clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and mentorship to elevate both individual and team output
Operations, Process & Resourcing
Own creative resourcing, prioritization, and budget allocation across initiatives
Establish and refine processes that improve speed, quality, and cross-functional collaboration
Manage external partners, freelancers, and agencies as needed
Brand Systems & Consistency
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines and creative standards to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
Champion a high bar for creative quality while enabling speed and iteration

Need to Have
8+ years of experience in creative roles, with experience leading teams (in-house, agency, or both)
Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative direction across brand, digital, and physical experiences
Experience working with performance marketing teams and understanding how creative drives results
Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., generative image, video, and copy tools) to accelerate creative production, testing velocity, and workflow efficiency
Exceptional visual design sensibility, attention to detail, and storytelling ability
Experience leading photoshoots, video production, and large-scale campaign execution
Strong leadership and team management experience
Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and creative production workflows
Nice to Have
Experience in DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brands
Experience building or scaling a creative team in a high-growth environment
Background in both brand and performance creative
Experience managing creative for licensed partnerships or co-branded collaborations
Familiarity with weekly product drop cadences
Comfort working across a wide range of aesthetic registers (polished brand down to raw UGC)

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be between $180,000 - $190,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
