Job Location: Hybrid (New York, NY/Home Office)

Hero is looking for a Creative Operations Manager responsible for running projects and implementing strategies and workflows to deliver successful creative projects on time and within budget. They will manage projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams, streamline communication and define timelines.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage Creative project (retail and packaging) timelines, milestones, and sprints from kickoff to launch/delivery

  • Serve as the facilitator between creative and cross-functional teams for packaging & retail projects

  • Lead creative routing, making sure feedback is organized, received, and proper approvals have successfully been established

  • Ensure that all team members and projects are on track, and on budget while being the master at removing roadblocks

  • Ability to rally the team during tight deadlines promoting enthusiasm while holding team members accountable (good energy is a must)

  • Support with sourcing and collaborating with outside vendors to accomplish creative production needs

  • Facilitate project after-actions to improve process, resourcing, and creative output

  • Independently (and in collaboration with your manager and the Director of Creative Operations) update and create new workflows to scale the creative department

  • Independently (and in collaboration with manager and the Director of Creative Operations) iterate and develop processes to help the creative team (and cross-functional partners) and initiatives run more efficiently and effectively

Who You Are:

  • Strong problem solver with analytical skills and instinctive ability to forecast and pre-determine what certain decisions will lead to

  • Effective & direct communicator with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, while ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.

  • Go getter with the ability to roll your sleeves up to get the job done

  • Passionate about creative across all of our products and the consumer experiences

  • Calmest person in the room with the ability to be clear, concise, and straight to the point while encouraging collaboration

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • 6+ years of project management experience across creative and marketing projects such as brand campaigns, visual merchandising, and/or packaging.

  • Experience working hands on with designers and creatives, and integrating into the process beyond just managing dates.

  • Familiarity with mechanical files and print production processes preferred (e.g. dielines, print specs, PPS processes, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Suite, and graphic design a plus

Working Conditions:

  • This is a Hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely and in our NYC office at 407 Broome St, New York, NY.

  • Ability to report into the office once/week

  • Located in the greater NYC Area / commutable distance to the NYC office

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 - $120,000 . This position is also eligible for a bonus.
