If you love building and growing brands, developing account strategies, and delivering client delight, we’re looking for you. Come join our growing Account Management team. This role will start as a contract or freelance position, with the opportunity to convert to full-time or continue on a FT/PT freelance or contract basis.
Herman-Scheer is a brand consultancy agency that creates brands and experiences for businesses that keep people healthy. We focus on a range of sectors, including disruptive healthcare, wellness technology, health food and beverages, fitness and recreation, and personal care. We have a 18 person team that is primarily remote with an office space in Venice for occasional in person meetings and working sessions.
As a Creative Producer, you will be a key production partner for Herman-Scheer clients and a central point of coordination for the internal team. You are obsessed with enabling great work: bringing creative ideas to life in the market across packaging, web, digital, paid, social, email, and retainer initiatives. You will work alongside our President and Account Directors to own the process from brief through delivery; planning, scoping, and managing creative production so that every deliverable is on-time, on-budget, high-quality, and truly aligned with client goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
Production Ownership
- Lead creative teams through the creative production process for market-facing assets: packaging, web and digital, paid media, organic social, email, and ongoing retainer work.
- Translate briefs into executable production plans, coordinating timelines, resources, and third-party vendors with precision.
- Ensure all deliverables follow the brief, required specs and are market-ready before delivery, proactively identifying gaps before they become blockers.
- Maintain impeccable quality standards, on-time and on-budget delivery across all active projects.
Client Liaison & Education
- Serve as the primary client contact — educating clients on process, setting expectations, and guiding them to provide the right input and feedback at the right time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with founders and senior client stakeholders, ensuring consistent confidence in the work and the process.
- Communicate project developments clearly and proactively, always connecting work back to the client's business objectives.
- Frame deliverables with clear rationale and next steps, not just handing off files, but ensuring clients understand what they have and how to use it.
Marketing Ecosystem Fluency
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's full marketing ecosystem, from paid channels to owned media, in order to produce work that performs in context.
- Evaluate the performance of live assets with clients, synthesize learnings, and drive iterative improvements across channels.
- Identify scope expansion and growth opportunities organically.
Project Infrastructure & Coordination
- Act as the organizational center of gravity for all production projects: maintaining documentation, schedules, budgets, and priorities while keeping all stakeholders aligned.
- Manage project finances including invoice creation, expense tracking, and margin monitoring.
- Lead communication with and manage all third-party production partners and vendors.
- Create and manage project infrastructure including Forecast.app plans, Google Drive folders, and Slack channels.
Internal Team Enablement
- Be the point of contact for internal project teams, ensuring every team member has the context, assets, and information they need before they have to ask.
- Anticipate needs, questions, and blockers across the team, resolving them proactively.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and the Strategy team on estimates, briefs, and production approach.
- Facilitate internal milestones and creative reviews to address challenges early.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years experience in creative production, with a proven track record delivering complex, multi-channel work

- Experience managing high-profile clients and delivering on large-scale engagements
- Strong communicator both internally with creative and strategy teams, and externally with high profile clients
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability through client relationships and project management
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping quality
- Strong aptitude for solution-oriented decision-making, conflict resolution, and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously
- Up-to-date knowledge of current branding, marketing, and digital trends
