About Arketa

Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, studios can manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, run automated marketing, and launch fully branded apps and websites. We make it simple for founders to deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint. We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for teammates who are excited to help shape the future of wellness.

About the Role

We're hiring a founding Creative Producer to own Arketa's content engine. You'll work end-to-end: concepting, shooting, directing, and editing, across paid advertising, founder storytelling, and studio partner features.

This is a build-from-zero role. There's no inherited workflow or toolkit to maintain. You'll define how creative gets made at Arketa.

You can pick up a camera and run a shoot, and you can edit the final cut. You bring a storyteller's instinct to every brief — thinking about why a viewer keeps watching, not just whether the footage is clean. You have taste and judgment, you move fast without sacrificing craft, and you know the difference between a reel that performs and one that just looks pretty.

About the Team

You'll work closely with our content and marketing team on a day-to-day basis, and directly with Arketa's founder on her content series. It's a small, high-trust team where your work is highly visible. The culture is fast-moving and creative — we'd rather ship something good today than perfect something that never goes live. You'll have real ownership over creative direction and the runway to build something that scales.

What You'll Own

Long-form brand content Plan, shoot, and produce longer-form video features across interview, documentary, and behind-the-scenes formats. You'll work with a range of internal stakeholders, manage logistics end-to-end, and handle post-production through final delivery.

Events and activations

Cover brand events and pop-ups, turning same-day footage into publishable content. You're comfortable making decisions on the fly when you didn't control the environment in advance.

Creative direction

Concept and script video ideas alongside the content team — not just execute briefs, but help originate them. When specialized work is needed, brief and manage external freelancers to a high standard.

Content infrastructure

Build lightweight systems for briefing, production, and asset management. Establish a raw footage and b-roll library the broader team can repurpose.

What Success Looks Like

We believe in setting our team up to thrive.

  • 30 days: You've met the team, understood Arketa's brand voice and visual identity, and produced your first pieces of content. You know how we work and what good looks like to us.

  • 60 days: You're running the founder content series independently, have shot your first studio partner story, and have a clear point of view on what we should be doing differently with our social content.

  • 90 days: The content engine is humming. You've established a production workflow, built out our asset library, and our social content is measurably stronger — better hooks, better performance, more consistent output.

What We're Looking For
  • 2–4 years in video production or creative production, with hands-on experience across the full stack: shooting, lighting, directing, and editing

  • Strong portfolio with range — short-form social, brand storytelling, and/or ad creative; a portfolio is required

  • Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent; you move from shoot to final cut independently

  • Strong creative taste and a clear point of view on what good looks like

  • Experience shooting and directing non-professional talent (founders, instructors, real people) on camera

  • Comfortable being the only full-time production person; you've built or are ready to build a function, not just execute within one

  • Experience managing or briefing external freelancers and holding a high quality bar

  • Highly organized and autonomous; you don't need close supervision to ship

Bonus
  • Background in fitness, wellness, or lifestyle content

  • Motion graphics or light animation skills

  • Experience with AI-assisted editing workflows

What We Offer
  • Ownership and Opportunity for Advancement

  • Competitive Salary and Stock Options

  • Unlimited PTO: our policy is designed to give you the flexibility to rest, recharge, and take care of personal needs, while staying aligned with your team and responsibilities.

  • Medical, dental and vision health insurance

  • Fitness Class Reimbursement: we're committed to supporting both employee wellness and our industry relationships. As an Arketa employee we see movement as opportunity.

  • Parental Leave Policy

For this role, the estimated annual base salary is $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we're happy to provide more detail during the interview process.

Arketa is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in its workforce. We actively encourage applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters innovation and creativity, and we welcome candidates who share our values of respect, collaboration, and excellence.
