About Smooth

Smooth Media is the talent management company for knowledge creators — the people teaching, explaining, and breaking down the world through smart, insightful content. We serve as a true strategic partner to our creators — an extension of their team that helps them run, grow, and professionalize their business.

About the Role

Reports To: Head of Creator Partnerships

We're looking for a Creator Partnerships Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role and one of the best starting points we can offer for someone who wants to understand how the creator economy actually works from the inside.

You'll support brand campaigns and creator operations end-to-end: tracking deliverables, managing timelines, writing briefs, pulling screenshots, keeping internal systems clean, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. It's detail-oriented work that sits at the center of how we serve creators and brands every day.

If you're organized, proactive, and genuinely interested in the business of online content creation, this role gives you a front-row seat to how it all runs.

What you'll do
  • Be the bridge between creators and brands by coordinating communication, gathering feedback, and helping ensure everything stays on track
  • Support brand campaigns from start to finish, including creating deliverable trackers, reviewing drafts, prepping briefs, submitting content, and logging performance data
  • Keep creators organized by sharing reminders, prepping materials, and keeping tabs on timelines and open tasks
  • Maintain operational excellence by updating internal systems, organizing shared folders, keeping Notion clean, and helping streamline how we work
  • Jump in where needed, whether it's creator onboarding, ops support, or anything else that helps the team run smoothly
  • Represent Smooth in external communications clearly, professionally, and with care
What we're looking for
  • You're organized, proactive, and deeply detail-oriented
  • You're a clear communicator who can write thoughtful, concise emails and explain things simply
  • You have a high standard for quality and care about getting the little things right
  • You're genuinely interested in creators, especially those making content in the business, tech, or learning space
  • You love being the glue, you're not trying to be the face of things, you're trying to make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes
  • Bonus: some exposure to project management, creator marketing, or account coordination
  • Based in NYC or open to being in NYC (our team is in-office Mon-Thurs)
What we can offer
  • Base salary: $65,000-$75,000
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited PTO (mandatory 10 days per year minimum)
  • Strong opportunity for growth within the Creator Partnerships team at a profitable, bootstrapped startup
