We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely assistance, answering questions, resolving concerns, processing requests, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is patient, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to remain professional when handling challenging situations. This position requires the ability to manage multiple customer interactions while accurately documenting information and following company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, chat, and/or in person.
  • Greet customers professionally and create a welcoming customer experience.
  • Answer questions regarding products, services, orders, accounts, pricing, policies, and procedures.
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and determine the appropriate solution.
  • Handle customer complaints, questions, and service issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Investigate customer concerns and provide accurate information and appropriate resolutions.
  • Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, cancellations, refunds, and other requests according to company policies.
  • Assist customers with account updates, billing questions, payments, invoices, and account-related concerns.
  • Check order status, shipping information, product availability, and delivery updates.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer information in CRM, order-management, or other company systems.
  • Document customer interactions, complaints, resolutions, and follow-up activities accurately.
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or unresolved issues to supervisors or the appropriate department.
  • Follow up with customers when necessary to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Coordinate with sales, billing, shipping, operations, technical support, and other departments to resolve customer concerns.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of company policies, procedures, products, and services.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate products, services, upgrades, or solutions when applicable.
  • Assist with customer retention by addressing concerns and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive attitude during all customer interactions.
  • Protect customer privacy and confidential company information.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, security requirements, and customer-service standards.
  • Stay current on company products, services, promotions, policies, and procedures.
  • Meet established customer-service, productivity, quality, accuracy, and response-time standards.
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and performance-development activities.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding recurring customer issues, product concerns, or opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business applications.
  • Bilingual or multilingual communication skills may be preferred depending on the customer population.
