About the Role

Former Auditor - Customer Success Manager

As a Customer Success Manager (+Audit Background) at DataSnipper, you own the success of a portfolio of accounts - and you bring something additional to the role: direct experience in audit. You understand how audit teams work, what drives their priorities, and how to connect DataSnipper to the workflows that matter most inside a firm.

You are a reliable, independent operator who applies established CS frameworks and uses your audit knowledge to accelerate adoption, build credibility with audit stakeholders, and design enablement that non-audit CSMs cannot replicate. You manage onboarding, QBRs, health monitoring, and renewals with predictability and follow-through and you do it in a language audit professionals trust.

You may still be developing the full breadth of CS scope, but your audit domain credibility opens doors and unlocks conversations that are otherwise harder to access at this level.

About DataSnipper

Audit and finance are still massively manual and we are changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms.

Now, we are taking things further with our Excel Agent, bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens. Unlike generic AI tools, we do not sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence, meaning it does not just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability.

We are not just applying AI, we are redefining how audit gets done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, this is the place.

What You Will Do
  • Act as a Credible Audit Advisor: Serve as a trusted partner to Audit Managers, Senior Auditors, and engagement team leads. You are someone who understands customer workflows, their quality standards, and their firm's operating model. Translate DataSnipper's capabilities into language and use cases that resonate with audit professionals directly.

  • Drive Adoption Aligned to Audit Workflows: Run onboarding and training sessions that are grounded in how audit teams actually work - mapping DataSnipper features to real engagement tasks, sample testing approaches, and evidence management requirements.

  • Manage Account Health with Audit Context: Use product data, stakeholder signals, and your understanding of audit operating rhythms to monitor portfolio health. Recognize when signals carry firm-wide implications such as low adoption and respond or escalate with the right context.

  • Build Audit-Grounded Success Plans: Create success plans that connect DataSnipper capabilities to audit-specific outcomes: engagement efficiency, sample coverage, review cycle speed, and quality compliance. Align milestones to audit calendar realities and firm methodology, not just generic product adoption targets.

  • Communicate ROI in Audit Terms: Articulate the business impact DataSnipper delivers using metrics and framing that carry weight with audit professionals - time saved per engagement, risk reduction, quality improvement. Run QBRs and stakeholder conversations with the credibility of someone who has worked in the field.

  • Support Expansion Using Domain Knowledge: Identify expansion signals within your portfolio and use your understanding of firm structure such as service lines, team hierarchies, engagement types to surface credible growth opportunities. Support Sales in building ROI cases that resonate with audit leadership.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Audit Insight: Share audit workflow intelligence with Product, Sales, and Solutions Engineering. Surface patterns that require audit expertise to interpret - methodology gaps, adoption friction specific to audit processes, feedback that non-audit CSMs are less positioned to identify.

  • Contribute Audit Knowledge to the Team: Help peers understand audit customer context. Act as an accessible internal resource for audit-specific questions to help raise the team's collective ability to serve audit accounts.

  • Maintain Systems and Portfolio Data: Keep customer data, health signals, and portfolio records accurate and up to date in internal systems. Use this data to make better decisions and support reliable reporting.

What You Bring
  • Audit Domain Credibility: You have worked in or directly alongside audit teams. You understand engagement lifecycles, sample testing, evidence management, team hierarchies, and the quality standards that govern audit work. This is not background knowledge - it is something you apply directly in customer conversations and account planning.

  • Experience: Ideally you have experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a similar client-facing role in B2B SaaS, combined with direct experience in audit - whether as an auditor, audit technology specialist, or in a client-facing role embedded in audit workflows. You understand how audit engagements are structured, what drives adoption in audit teams, and how to speak credibly to audit professionals.

  • Audit-Specific Enablement Design: You can design and execute onboarding and training programs that map to real audit workflows - including audit cycle timing, firm methodology, and engagement team structure. This requires audit fluency that cannot be substituted with general CS experience.

  • Reliable Execution: You follow through. You manage a portfolio independently, hit your commitments, and deliver consistent outcomes without needing close supervision.

  • Data-Driven Approach: You use product data and health signals to stay ahead of risks and make decisions. You are comfortable in CS tools and CRM platforms.

  • Clear Communication across Contexts: You communicate clearly in both audit professional language and CS/GTM contexts. You can navigate stakeholder conversations with audit managers and firm leadership, and translate those conversations back into internal action.

  • Ownership Mindset: You take responsibility for your accounts and your own development. You ask for feedback, apply it, and look for ways to improve.

  • Collaborative Spirit: You contribute to the team including by sharing audit knowledge that makes peers more effective on audit accounts.

  • Adaptability: You handle change well. You adjust when priorities shift and keep a constructive attitude in a fast-moving environment.
