About the Role
The Data Analyst Intern will support our team by assisting with the research, creation, and aggregation of data to support our marketing, sales, and product use cases development efforts.
Responsibilities will include:
- Compiling market and index-related data and preparing reports that will be shared with the team and clients
- Pulling data samples connecting firmographic, Syntax classification, and market data for internal and external consumption
- Developing scripts and workflow to automate key data pulls on a go- forward basis
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel knowledge
- Studying Finance, Economics or Math
- Applied math skills, particularly financial statistics
- Programming skills, especially in Python and VBA
- Familiarity with data terminals such as Bloomberg, Eikon, and FactSet
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with and analyzing large datasets
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and spoken English
- Positive and proactive attitude with flexibility to accommodate a changing environment and willingness to take on new responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail
