Job Description

The Enterprise Data Compliance Lead role is accountable for ensuring compliance and regulatory governance for People, Finance, Legal, and Procurement Data, with a particular focus on data availability, sharing and privacy across multiple warehouses, lakes and lakehouses. This role is responsible for data policy creation and administration, overseeing data compliance across the platform, ensuring C&W is both adhering to privacy standards and regulations while ensuring that data is available to support the business, data strategy and drive C&W’s business strategy forward. This position will report to [ ].
Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain data compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Oversee the governance of People, Finance, Legal, and Procurement Data, ensuring data integrity, security, and privacy across platforms and products which ingest and share such data.
  • Review, assess and address various risks/ issues; escalate high risks as appropriate and present recommendations to TDS senior leadership
  • Lead the creation and administration of data compliance frameworks, ensuring they are aligned with global regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data compliance policies are integrated into business processes and systems.
  • Monitor and assess compliance with data governance policies, identifying and addressing any gaps or risks.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on data compliance requirements and best practices.
  • In partnership with Master Data Governance teams within TDS and the business, conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with data governance policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data compliance inquiries and issues, providing expert advice and support.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of Data Management / Governance and Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Data Management, Compliance).
  • Proven experience in data compliance, governance, and regulatory oversight, preferably in a global organization.
  • Quantitative Analytics background; experience developing data quality thresholds
  • Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
  • Professional certifications in data compliance or governance (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CDMP).
  • Experience with data lakehouse architecture and data management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 179,605.00 - $211,300.00
