The role designs stewardship, issue remediation, and metadata approval workflows; configures Collibra operating models, metamodel extensions, and workflows; develops governance frameworks; and leads training and change management. This position translates business needs into scalable technical roadmaps and supports adoption of data governance practices across the organization.

- Business Shaping: Partner with cross-functional business leaders to define data governance requirements, standards, and ownership models.
- Process Design: Design and implement operational workflows for data stewardship, issue remediation, and metadata approval.
- Collibra Functional Design: Build out Collibra functionalities (Operating Models, Metamodel extensions, and Workflows) to align with business processes.
- Framework Development: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures that ensure data integrity and security.
- Change Management: Lead training programs and workshops to drive the adoption of data governance practices across the organization.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the Grade 12 Lead to ensure business requirements are translated into a scalable technical roadmap.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: 6 years of experience in data governance, business analysis, or data management.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in shaping business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Strong proficiency in Collibra (Functional side): designing operating models and workflows.
- Excellent communication and influence skills to manage stakeholders who may be resistant to change.
- Ability to work without appreciable direction and exercise latitude in determining objectives.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with cloud data environments (AWS/Azure).
- Certification in a specific Data Quality tool.
