Position Summary

The Data Operations Analyst I provides data operational support for fundraising and business systems by performing recurring business processes, supporting data quality initiatives, responding to user requests, and maintaining system documentation and user resources.

The role serves as a key resource for ensuring timely execution of operational activities, improving data quality, and helping users effectively utilize G-REM CRM and systems. Working under established procedures and guidelines, the Analyst exercises independent judgment to resolve a variety of routine and moderately complex issues while escalating more complex challenges to team members and vendors.

The position combines data operational execution, user support, data stewardship, and continuous improvement responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Data Stewardship

Serve as the primary resource for recurring operational activities and routine data maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled acknowledgment processing beginning at 7:30 AM ET on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Conduct scheduled duplicate review and remediation activities.
  • Execute approved bulk uploads, imports, and data maintenance tasks.
  • Process constituent and organizational record merges according to established procedures.
  • Complete recurring operational activities within defined service levels.
  • Maintain operational logs and documentation.
  • Escalate exceptions, risks, and unresolved issues as appropriate.

Data Quality Improvement 

Support ongoing efforts to improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine data cleanup and remediation activities.
  • Review duplicate queues and resolve records using established business rules.
  • Identify recurring data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with data validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Support proactive data quality initiatives and cleanup projects.
  • Partner with team Advisor roles to improve data management practices.
  • Monitor and report on recurring sources of data inaccuracies.
  • Test and build automated method for data quality and duplicate resolution utilizing programming and AI

User Support, Knowledge Management & User Enablement 

Provide frontline support while helping users become more self-sufficient.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to routine ServiceNow requests and user questions.
  • Assist users with system navigation, reporting, and standard processes.
  • Resolve common support issues using documented procedures.
  • Create and maintain user guides, job aids, FAQs, and knowledge articles.
  • Analyze recurring support requests and document solutions.
  • Recommend opportunities for self-service resources and process improvements.
  • Support communication and adoption of system changes and enhancements.

Continuous Improvement & Team Support 

Contribute to improvements that increase efficiency and reduce support volume.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to streamline support processes.
  • Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements.
  • Participate in documentation and process improvement efforts.
  • Support special projects related to data quality, user support, and system adoption.
  • Share feedback from users to help improve systems and processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in fundraising and/or marketing operations, customer support, data management, CRM support, or business systems support.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage recurring operational responsibilities while responding to user needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with CRM, fundraising, MarTech or constituent management systems.
  • Experience with Clearview CRM, Springboard by Jackson River, EveryAction, MobileCommons, DonorDrive, and/or Salesforce NPSP
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
  • Experience with data imports, record maintenance, or duplicate management.
  • Experience creating documentation, job aids, and user guides.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs and/or AI/Prompt Engineering
