About the RoleWe are looking for a curious, analytical, and highly resourceful Data Research & AI Intelligence Specialist to help us uncover new business opportunities, partnerships, clients, and emerging market trends.
This role sits at the intersection of AI-powered research, business intelligence, lead generation, market analysis, and data intelligence. You will use modern AI tools, web research, scraping, automation, and data analysis techniques to identify organizations and individuals that could become valuable clients, partners, sponsors, or collaborators.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys going down research rabbit holes, connecting seemingly unrelated pieces of information, discovering opportunities before others do, and turning large amounts of unstructured information into clear, actionable intelligence.
You will work closely with leadership to identify who we should approach, why we should approach them, what opportunity exists, and how we can turn that opportunity into a meaningful business relationship.
- Discover Opportunities: Use AI tools, web research, and scraping to identify potential clients, partners, sponsors, investors, and collaborators.
- Conduct Market Research: Research industries, competitors, trends, events, and emerging opportunities across hospitality, beverage, culture, events, retreats, media, and related sectors.
- Build Intelligence Databases: Collect, verify, enrich, and organize companies, contacts, projects, and opportunities into structured databases.
- Leverage AI & Automation: Build efficient AI-powered research, data collection, and lead-generation workflows using tools, APIs, scraping, and automation.
- Turn Data Into Action: Analyze findings, prioritize high-potential opportunities, and present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
This is a part-time contract role with a confidential client focused on creative, hospitality, beverage, cultural, event, retreat, and entertainment industries. The role is remote, with candidates in the MENA region preferred.
You will work closely with the client’s leadership team to research markets, identify high-value prospects and partnerships, analyze emerging opportunities, and turn unstructured information into actionable business intelligence.
The hiring process begins with a conversation with the client to discuss your experience, approach to research, and mutual expectations.
Candidates may then complete a short, practical research exercise designed to reflect the type of market and opportunity research involved in the role.
For a consultant/contractor engagement, your work will be based on agreed hours, scope, and deliverables. You are expected to provide your own laptop and basic equipment, maintain reliable connectivity and a secure working environment, and follow required security controls, including two-factor authentication.
Industry note: The client works across hospitality, beverage, and bar-related industries, and some research or potential client opportunities may involve alcohol and spirits-related businesses or projects. Candidates should consider whether this scope aligns with their professional and personal requirements.
