Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Data Scientist to Formulate mathematical and statistical theories and methods, using cutting edge technologies analyzing petabytes of data to generate analytical insights that inform networks and engagement strategies. Build industry-leading validation and testing models, delivering powerful solutions that inform network strategy and design, improve network performance and provider engagement, develop new provider offerings, and enhance consumer experience. Solve problems, drive impact, and deliver key insights by leveraging innovations in data science, quality control, system simulation, and predictive modeling techniques. Derive meaning from data and deploy robust solutions through development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools. Develop, validate, and executes algorithms and statistical predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions, determining analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes. Explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms for various databases. Perform analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve business problems, utilizing advanced risk and decision analysis. Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, risk analysis, data reports and performance metrics. Telecommuting available. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Science, or a related field. Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in each of the following: 1. CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; 2. Java, Python, or Node.js; 3. Hadoop, R or Python; 4. MySQL; 5. SAS; 6. SQL; 7. Machine Learning; 8. Statistical analysis; 9. Predictive modeling; 10. NLP (Scikit-Learn, SpaCity, Pytorch, or Spark NLP); 11. Contributing to large-scale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects; 12. Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail sector; and 13. Designing data architectures, including data pipelines, distributed computing engines, and machine learning infrastructure design. Pay Range: $111240.00/year to $222480.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
