Noom is looking for a Business Operations expert to join our Operations team. You will work directly for Noom's Chief Operating Officer and partner with our executive, finance, coach ops, customer support, product and growth teams to accelerate critical initiatives across the organization. Using data, you will present recommendations to stakeholders, both internally and externally that drive efficiency. The ideal candidate will use business knowledge, financial modeling and statistical insight to identify areas of growth and opportunity. 

What You’ll be doing

  • Develop automated, sustainable, and usable solutions for self-service data access for internal stakeholders and the board
  • Own operational models by collecting, interpreting, evaluating, and summarizing information and trends to develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of changes to procedures or strategies
  • Support strategic short and long-term business decisions through financial modeling and analysis for business and product teams
  • Support company-wide planning and forecasting processes in a manner that is both efficient and effective
  • Own and develop financial forecasts that accurately predict business performance; highlight key variances, opportunities, and issues to senior management
  • Maintain and distribute monthly KPI reports and contribute to the Board package for Board meetings

What We’re Looking For:

  • Two to four years of experience in private equity/banking/financial analysis capacity or management consulting, with a focus in data extraction, interpretation, and reporting
  • Strong analytical ability, including the ability to gather, analyze and evaluate information and to translate concepts into financial/operational models
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize multiple projects/stakeholders, and maintain an organized project list
  • Team player who establishes and maintains effective working relationships in cross-functional and collaborative environment
  • Experience using data visualization (e.g. tables, charts, graphs) to represent analyses to an executive audience for the purpose of refining and influencing strategic initiatives
  • Quantitative undergraduate degree preferred
  • Experience with (or ability to quickly learn) analytical tools including Looker and SQL. Expert abilities in one or more of these is a big plus
  • Expert Excel and presentation skills required
  • MBA a plus
