As a Sr. Data Scientist, Partner Product, you will contribute to building a great experience for our landlord partners. Your research will enable Rhino to segment and deeply understand the rental communities we serve. By partnering with Product and Marketing on discovery, A/B testing and campaign experimentation, you will inform how we engage with our customers and build Rhino’s best in class product. 

In this role you will: 

• Dive deep into first and third party data on rental communities to improve our rental community segmentation.
• Partner with Product managers on data driven discovery and feature development.
• Partner with email marketers and copy writers on campaign design and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data Engineering to ensure we collect the right data to understand our users
• Extend Rhino’s data models to formalize how we think about user behavior and evaluate third party analytics tools for your area.
• Empower business partners and executive leadership to easily understand our product performance through clear and accessible reporting

We’re ideally seeking:

• 2+ years of experience working in a Data Science / Analytics capacity. Experience partnering with Product and Marketing teams preferred.
• Solid SQL and Python analysis skills.
• Experience designing ETL workflows to transform raw data into analytical datasets and metrics for business wide consumption.
• Applied knowledge of metrics development and A/B testing.
• Foundational knowledge of supervised and unsupervised ML models. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interest in translating analysis results into business recommendations
• Bonus points for hands-on experience working with email and event tracking data (e.g. Drip, Iterable, Segment, Amplitude). 
• Bonus points for experience working with geospatial data.
