The Opportunity
As a Deals - DDV - People in Deals - Intern, you will engage in projects that support our clients in navigating complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Within our Advisory practice, you will gain exposure to strategic advice, due diligence, and valuation services, helping clients make informed decisions and maximize value. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's methodologies. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments and contributing to the team's success.
In this role at PwC, you will have the opportunity to work within the Deals network, supporting separations and divestitures through carve-out planning and operational separation. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in mergers and acquisitions by assisting with due diligence and valuation processes
- Participating in project management activities to facilitate smooth transitions during separations and divestitures
- Conducting research and gathering data to aid in risk analysis and strategic decision-making
- Engaging in cross-functional team coordination to enhance collaboration and achieve project goals
- Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative solutions and improve client outcomes
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain insights into workforce consulting practices
- Assisting in the development of employee retention strategies to support long-term client success
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations for client meetings and internal reviews
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional growth
- Collaborating with team members to deliver quality work that aligns with client expectations
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Insurance Actuarial Science, Risk and Actuarial Science
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Demonstrating intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
- Participating in cross-functional team coordination and project management
- Engaging in M&A strategy and risk analysis activities
- Supporting client-focused advisory services in dynamic market environments
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
