About Morpho

Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that raised million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone, not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.

Our Mission

Morpho's mission is to power human ambition with open access to capital. Human ambition has no borders, but the capital to fuel it does. Today's financial system is closed and fragmented. No one sees all opportunities, most overpay, and some are excluded entirely. We believe capital should flow efficiently to where it's needed most - giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms.

How we work

We move fast on hard problems in a nascent market with no set playbook: navigating uncertainty is part of the job. You'll be challenged: anyone can question work and decisions must be justified. We keep a high bar and match it with high support: we help each other unblock and share context openly, with low ego. More about our values: morpho.org/jobs.

Role

The mission of this role is to bring deep tradfi credit structuring expertise to Morpho, so the team can advise integrators on bringing private credit, asset-backed, and structured lending products on chain. This is the first dedicated deal-based structuring hire on the Risk team; you will define how this work gets done at Morpho.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the integration team to advise tradfi origination integrators on how to use Morpho as the underlying infrastructure for their on-chain origination platforms.

  • Support distribution integrators on how to structure lending and curation agreements with tradfi originators, so client funds can flow into novel on-chain credit structures.

  • Sit at the table with integrators, structurers, and counterparties (legal and investment) to translate tradfi deal mechanics into on-chain workflows and negotiate the terms that get them there.

  • Act as Morpho's internal expert on private credit and structured finance market convention, educating the team and ecosystem on how the tradfi side actually works.

  • Develop deep fluency in the Morpho protocol so you can advise integrators on which originations fit existing primitives and which require custom smart-contract work.

  • Produce internal resources (memos, playbooks, term comparisons) that level up Morpho contributors and integrators on private credit, ABF, ABS, and CLO conventions.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days

You've filled the early gaps in your fundamental crypto understanding, started developing a working knowledge of the Morpho stack, and are shadowing live integration conversations so you can see how curator and integrator needs shape architectural decisions. You're already asking sharper questions than the people around you on the structuring side.

First 4 months

You're contributing meaningfully to tradfi integration initiatives, advising integrators on how Morpho can support their origination platforms, and have shipped the first round of internal resources that bring the rest of the team up to speed on structured credit conventions. You've earned the right to push back on integrators on structure, not just translate.

In 1 year

You own and lead at least one tradfi integration end to end. Your structuring judgment is the team's default reference point on private credit deal design, and external integrators see you as a credible counterpart on both the tradfi mechanics and the on-chain build.

Must-have Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of TradFi experience in Securitizations / Structuring, Private Credit, or other investment roles that involved bespoke, deal-based lending structures (private credit loans, asset-backed finance, receivables factoring, ABS, CLOs).

  • Direct, hands-on experience sitting at the deal table with lawyers and investment professionals: negotiating terms, designing structure, working through edge cases. Not pure pricing, not pure relationship coverage.

  • Comfort going deep into mechanics, edge cases, and implementation details, not just operating at the framework level.

  • Genuine crypto curiosity: have used a self-custody wallet, used a DeFi protocol, can explain at a high level how something like MEV works, and excited to learn fast. Professional crypto experience is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Calm under pressure when integrator requests pile up and priorities shift quickly.

  • Clear and crisp async communication, with the ability to push back on partners while staying open to learning from them.

  • Strong ownership and autonomy, paired with risk-aware judgment. Not overconfident, not risk-seeking.

  • Humble.

Perks & benefits

We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career. Expect fair, top-tier compensation, real flexibility, time together in Paris, great health coverage, and support to keep learning.

Equal opportunity

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and hire based on talent, potential, and values alignment.
