Job title: Technical Deployment Lead
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 12 Months
The manager is looking for someone with previous cutover experience,  has worked with large implementation systems and coordination, putting plans in place,  they must understand the system, must be efficient in Excel, interpersonal skills, previous project management skills, computer science background
Job Summary:  This position is responsible for the planning and execution of all deployment, cutover and service transition deliverables required to successfully implement National Grid’s Gas Transportation Information System (GTIS).  The candidate is required to have previously demonstrated experience with managing the cutover of a large system implementation project.  This position will report to the project manager.  
Job duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Creation and ownership of the project’s cutover plan
    Coordinate and facilitate the walk-thrus of the cutover plan with all participants
    Development of the Operational Acceptance Test  (OAT) Strategy and test scripts
    Coordination and execution the Operational Acceptance Test
    Development of the Cutover Dress Rehearsal plans
    Orchestrate and execution of the Cutover Dress Rehearsals
    Work with the National Grid Service Transition team to ensure handover of the new system into production
Skill Requirements
Required
    Previous experience with managing and coordinating a large system project implementation
    Excellent technical and communication (writing and verbal) skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills
    Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
    Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week as necessary to accomplish assigned tasks
Preferred
    BS in Information Systems or Business Administration or five or more years of equivalent experience
    Project management skills
