To achieve our mission, we must ensure our network deployments are designed for performance and scale, as well as executed flawlessly. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for translating customer requirements to fully designed wired and wireless networks using Meter’s in-house tooling. You’ll lead all technical decisions throughout the design and deployment phases, and support our customers through network turn-up and validation. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our deployments and the satisfaction of our customers, enabling Meter to scale and meet the growing demand for reliable internet infrastructure.

You will have an impact by
  • Designing performant and resilient networks: You will create wireless and wired network designs using Meter’s in-house toolkit.

  • Leading critical technical decisions: You will lead technical network decisions during design and deployment phases until network go-live and validation are complete.

  • Supporting network turn-up: You will troubleshoot and support critical devices and network functionality during the network turn-up phase, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

  • Supporting On-site Installation: You will visit complex customer sites as needed to support installation and validation, ensuring successful deployment.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will work closely with Deployment Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Engineering to design the next generation of Meter’s deployment and networking products.

Why Meter?

The internet runs the world. Every email you send, purchase you make, video call you join—it’s all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space.

We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive.

Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility.

Compensation
  • The estimated salary range for this role is $109,000 - $186,000.

  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
