About the Role
What You'll Do
Who You Are
We’re Redefining the $11T B2B Commerce and Payments Market
Nuvo is bringing B2B commerce online.
While technology has reshaped consumer commerce, the business-to-business (B2B) economy — three times larger— has lagged behind.
From coffee to lumber, every product we use has been traded through a complex supply chain of suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. Despite the massive scale of this market, most businesses manage their trading relationships and commerce activities using outdated methods like paper forms, PDFs, emails, faxes, phone calls, and spreadsheets, making processes slow and inefficient.
Much like how Shopify, Stripe and Square have transformed how consumer companies transact, we aim to do the same for B2B companies.
Nuvo works with tens of thousands of businesses, and we’re pushing to scale our operations to millions of businesses in the US. Today, Nuvo serves some of America’s most iconic suppliers including AutoZone, Nestle, Coca-Cola, and Fender. As we increase the scale of our network, the quality and speed of our deployments become crucial to our mission of bringing trade online.
The Deployment Strategist at Nuvo sits at the center of our most critical customer engagements. You will work alongside creative engineers and product designers to deploy Nuvo into our customers’ most important workflows, ensuring deployments are not just technically sound, but also operationally effective and adopted in practice.
You will immerse yourself deeply in customer workflows, partner closely with our deployed engineering team, and work directly with data, engineering, business, and AI leaders at some of the world’s most complex enterprises. From the first conversation through production launch, expansion, and outcomes, you will guide deployments end to end. This is a foundational role to help us build out our deployed engineering organization.
This is a high-impact, execution-heavy role that blends customer strategy, product thinking, business operations, and technical problem-solving.
- Own the success of Nuvo’s most complex customer deployments and ensure they are successful.
- Spend significant time with our customers onsite, build deep relationships with the organizations to identify critical problems, unblock deployments, and champion how Nuvo fits into their systems and processes.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to integrate customer data, diagnose adoption bottlenecks, and translate on-the-ground learnings into product and business directions.
- Build and deliver demos and proofs of concept to validate new use cases, test ideas in the field, and support expansion into new areas.
- Enable customers to go live and ensure they are thriving in Nuvo’s compounding ecosystem.
- Deeply understand and advocate for the most pressing needs of our customers, ensuring this is a north star across the company.
- Figure out bottlenecks to platform-wide adoption and work with our engineering and product teams to solve them.
- You are deeply curious and analytical, with strong product intuition and interest in how real users and organizations operate.
- You are comfortable working with data (through SQL and BI tools) as well as technical systems. You don’t need to write production code, but you are technically curious and willing to learn whatever tools are necessary to solve problems and advance our deployments.
- You’ve operated in high-stakes environments before and can stay effective under pressure. You are able to align multiple stakeholders around concrete action plans. You are able to leverage data and systems to understand adoption and usage, and you are able to measure impact and translate findings to help accelerate deployments.
- You’re willing to travel and embed with customers (roughly 25–50%), especially during critical deployment phases, and you’re motivated by deeply understanding Nuvo’s strategy and platform so you can help accelerate our mission to bring trade online globally.
