DeVries is seeking a Designer to join our growing Creative Department. Is it you?
If you’re someone who’s bursting with creative ideas, who lives for the latest trends but would rather start a new one, it might be. Our team is tasked with concepting ideas that earn attention for some of the world’s most famous beauty and lifestyle brands, so you’ll need to be a visionary with an eye for what’s next. You’ll also need to be a wizard in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, have an understanding of visual storytelling, and love making things, big or small—from crafting an epic GIF that gets all the likes to set the look and feel of an entire campaign.

What you’ll be doing:
What’s a typical DeVries day look like for a designer? There isn’t one. You’ll touch tons of the best brands, from P&G to IHOP to Merz Aesthetics, sometimes all in one day. You’ll be responsible for creating design solutions that have a highly visual impact.
You’ll need know Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator better than your know your own family. You’ll also become an ambassador for creating PowerPoints that don’t suck. And just as importantly, you need to be a creative thinker who is constantly learning the latest trends in digital and social spaces. You’ll be problem-solving ideas through design, and helping bring big ideas to life. You need the ability to present concepts and support rationale behind your ideas and solutions. Attention to details (down to the smallest pixel) is a must.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- 4-6 years of design experience in a related agency or department (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content, or public relations)
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within all required aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) as well as presentation software such as Keynote and PowerPoint
- Ongoing drive to understand emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in art direction, design, technology, and social media
- Work well across various teams and talent communities
- Basic or advanced knowledge in AfterEffects is preferred but not mandatory
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong decision-making skills
- Aptitude for being well organized
- Strong presentation skills, poise and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Resourceful, entrepreneurial and inclusive

Salary: $70,000-90,000
DeVries has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
