Provides desktop and user support for Air Force Research Laboratory systems throughout the client lifecycle. Responsibilities include WDS/PXE imaging, Windows domain joins, system delivery, user-profile backup and restoration, application configuration, printer and file-share connections, and troubleshooting user-facing applications. The role requires CompTIA Security+ certification and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Delaware Nation Investments/Emerging Technologies This is a non-personal services order to provide seamless support to Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate for Information Technology (IT), communication and computer management services including service desk support, desktop support, network support, enterprise services, web services, cybersecurity and information assurance support, communications support, field services, and specialized information systems support.
The Desktop Support Specialist will work within the base User Services/Comm Focal Point team for all customer incidents and in support of the full client system lifecycle from deployment to remnant security.
