Position Overview:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead Observability and Continuous FinOps as core platform capabilities at Zenity.This is a hands-on platform role. You will own the systems, automation, and operating models that give engineers and leadership deep visibility into system health and cloud spend. You are a DevOps engineer first, with primary ownership over observability and cloud financial management.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and operate Zenity’s observability platform, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
  • Build observability-as-code and self-service tooling for development teams
  • Define and implement observability standards such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and service health models
  • Lead Zenity’s Continuous FinOps practice together with Engineering and Finance
  • Build and maintain cost dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and forecasting
  • Provide clear unit-economics and cost allocation across teams, services, and environments
  • Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives across compute, storage, and managed services
  • Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Platform, and Finance stakeholders
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or similar)
  • CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience operating observability systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
  • Understanding of cloud pricing models, billing, tagging, and optimization strategies
  • Strong automation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Comfortable owning greenfield domains end-to-end
