Own strategy, standards, and execution for navigation and wayfinding across JPMC web and mobile. Lead discovery, prioritize backlog, define success metrics, establish governance and navigation standards, partner with engineering and stakeholders, and iterate using analytics, research, and emerging assistive/AI-driven navigation concepts.

Navigation is one of the most foundational layers of a digital banking experience. When it works, customers move through complex financial journeys with confidence, finding the products, tools, and information they need across the JPMC web and mobile platforms. When it breaks down, findability suffers, customer journeys stall, and there's an impact on engagement, satisfaction, and business outcomes.

As the Product Manager Lead for Navigation and Wayfinding, you will own the strategy, standards, and execution model for how customers navigate our digital experiences. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from vision and discovery through delivery, measurement, and ongoing iteration, ensuring that navigation serves the needs of a diverse and growing customer base across an increasingly complex product surface.

This role sits within a large, federated organization where navigation decisions span multiple lines of business, product teams, and platforms. JPMC's digital properties serve millions of customers across a broad range of financial needs, and the navigation infrastructure that connects those experiences must be coherent, consistent, and built to scale. Success in this role requires the ability to establish governance that works across distributed ownership structures, build shared standards that teams across the organization will adopt, and drive alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities, without direct authority over the teams involved.

The strongest candidates will bring demonstrated experience in complex digital organizations, a deep understanding of information architecture and findability measurement, and the technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering across web and native mobile platforms. Experience with how assistive and AI-driven experiences are beginning to reshape navigation paradigms is an advantage, as this role will be expected to anticipate and shape that evolution within the JPMC digital ecosystem.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop product strategy and vision that delivers measurable value to customers.
  • Lead discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer needs and integrate insights into the product roadmap.
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog that supports the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  • Build a framework for success metrics — including cost, features and functionality, risk posture, and reliability — and track performance over time.
  • Establish navigation governance and decision-making mechanisms that scale across distributed teams.
  • Define and steward navigation and wayfinding standards that measurably improve findability and accessibility across web and mobile.
  • Anticipate and shape evolving navigation paradigms — such as assistive experiences and previews — by testing concepts and translating insights into roadmap decisions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience in product management or a relevant domain area.
  • Advanced understanding of product development, design, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
  • Track record of driving measurable customer experience improvements, with emphasis on findability and wayfinding outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience owning information architecture strategy — including taxonomy, labeling, and hierarchy — for complex authenticated digital experiences.
  • Ability to synthesize insights from analytics, research, and partner inputs into clear priorities and roadmaps.
  • Executive-level communication skills, including presenting progress, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering on platform constraints, dependencies, and quality considerations.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience owning navigation, wayfinding, or information architecture for complex, multi-journey digital products across web and/or native mobile.
  • Background in building or stewarding design systems and pattern libraries, with demonstrated adoption across multiple product teams.
  • Strong proficiency in findability measurement — including navigation telemetry, search-as-navigation signals, and task success metrics — and using those insights to drive change.
  • Familiarity with assistive or conversational experiences, and working knowledge of artificial intelligence and large language model concepts and applications.
