About the role

Chartis is looking for a Digital Project Manager (Senior-Level) to be accountable for the overall delivery and successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously across clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM campaigns, AIO/GEO Strategy & Execution, CRO, Website design + builds, Analytic strategies, and performance-driven marketing projects.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and expand on client strategies to improve overall results of project outcomes. Become a strategic partner with the client to organically grow our services within the client’s business.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including designers, developers, content creators, and marketers—fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Implement a project structure that supports the team in the successful execution of deliverables and is tailored to each project’s goals.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on project deliverables to ensure they meet defined standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver complex projects across marketing and digital channels.
  • Work closely with Chartis Leadership to act as one of the day-to-day points of contact for client counterparts.
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with key stakeholders/client teams and internally with Chartis Leadership to ensure projects are aligned with client’s overarching goals and business objectives.
  • Manage status reporting and remediation as appropriate regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across multiple channels, including different project types (e.g., SEM project, Website design and build project, SEO project, CRM or content marketing project).
  • Advise on general functional and marketing strategy needs where applicable, particularly around SEO/SEM optimization, campaign structure, analytics, and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support with the development of scopes, decks, meetings, and presentations for the Leadership team.
  • Support sales and pitch initiatives by collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to contribute project planning insights, delivery approaches, and timelines.
  • Ensure time tracking and budgets are adhered to based on approved forecast for project work.
  • Partner with analytics and marketing teams to review campaign performance and help translate insights into actionable recommendations for future initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • 6–8 years of relevant project management experience (agency experience or digital marketing/martech experience strongly preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills
  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to advise clients on digital marketing best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience managing multiple and diverse client accounts
  • Ability to distill complex business and technical needs of clients into digestible requirements and tasks for the project team
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM/Paid Search, CRO, AIO/GEO, Social Media, Analytics, Experimentation, Web Dev, Web Design, and MarTech Platforms
  • Experience managing cross-channel marketing campaigns and collaborating with creative, performance marketing, and analytics teams
  • Technical proficiency and understanding of CRM, CMS, and issue management platforms
  • Strong work ethic, client-first mentality, autonomous and self-starter
  • Strong written and verbal communication across various seniority levels and disciplines
  • Experience managing technical web builds, marketing campaigns, and other similar digital initiatives; experience working in agile methodology
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Nice to have: familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Optimizely, Braze, Wordpress, and Terminus
  • Bonus: experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs) or marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo)
