Netflix is seeking an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of success in managing the Technology and Retail category. This leader will be a creative thinker, working cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for clients and teams. The role involves managing a consultative sales team, selling Netflix’s solutions to major Technology and Retail  advertisers. We are looking for a self-starter who excels in dealing with ambiguity and is a talented coach for high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight and possess both management and extensive experience in performance marketing and brand marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and be accountable for quarterly and annual revenue goals, pipeline management, and growth targets across a diversified book of business

  • Act as a player/coach by driving long-term opportunities and coaching the team through both short- and long-term challenges

  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Measurement, and Market Activation to optimize client efforts

  • Consult with Product to help shape product development in support of client needs

  • Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Netflix to clients

  • Identify successful strategies and scale insights throughout the vertical

  • Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches

  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services at Netflix, including a strong understanding of working with advertisers and agencies

  • Build, train, and maintain a high-performing team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in digital media

  • 12+ years of experience in sales or marketing

  • 4+ years of experience as a manager

  • Experience building integrated and brand advertising campaigns

  • Demonstrated experience using data to craft strategy

  • Experience driving revenue growth with both emerging opportunities and established partnerships

  • Knowledge of advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value

  • Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers at brands and agencies

  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape and recognized as a thought leader among clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of MMM, MTA, Sales and Conversion Lift, and a point of view on the evolution of measurement for modern marketing

  • Demonstrated understanding of brand best practices and brand measurement

  • Proven knowledge of signal, value, and performance marketing

  • Understanding of the Technology and Retail industries

  • Demonstrated people leadership with experience coaching, guiding, challenging, and empowering top performers

  • Operational rigor and the ability to lead, challenge, and influence cross-functional partners and external clients


Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $580,000.00 - $800,000.00.
