About Us

Trovy is redefining home equity lending with a new generation of products that combine the flexibility of card-based payments with the power of secured real estate lending. Trovy is backed by top venture capital investors and has a team of proven fintech innovators who are dedicated to reshaping the way consumers access and manage credit.

Role Overview

As a member of the Marketing team, you'll own Trovy's affiliate and partner marketing program end-to-end, managing our presence on affiliate networks, rate tables, and review sites, recruiting and onboarding partners, and optimizing commission structures for efficient, compliant acquisition. You'll also build a portfolio of direct partnerships outside affiliate networks, including real estate brokerages, home improvement companies, contractors, and other homeowner-facing partners, sourcing, negotiating, and structuring programs from scratch. You'll own each partnership's full lifecycle: negotiation, contracting, invoicing, creative approval, and QA. This role is for someone who can close a deal, build a program, and run the operational engine behind it.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate Marketing

  • Own and scale Trovy's affiliate program across relevant networks, rate tables, and review sites, recruiting and onboarding new partners across comparison sites, cashback platforms, and content publishers.

  • Continuously optimize commission structures, placements, and incentives to improve CAC, all within RESPA Section 8 and other applicable referral-fee guardrails.

  • Build and maintain tracking infrastructure across all partners to keep attribution clean and performance measurable.

  • Set and monitor performance benchmarks, and cut or renegotiate underperforming placements.

Partnerships

  • Build and manage a portfolio of direct partnerships outside affiliate networks, including real estate brokerages and agents, home improvement companies, contractors, and other homeowner-facing partners.

  • Source, pitch, and negotiate partnership agreements, structuring economics and referral flows in compliance with RESPA and applicable state referral-fee restrictions.

  • Design co-marketing and embedded-offer programs that introduce Trovy's product at the moment of homeowner need.

  • Own each partnership's full commercial and operational lifecycle: pricing negotiations, contracting, invoicing, budget management, creative approval, and QA.

SEO & AIO

  • Build and execute an organic search strategy targeting homeowners researching HELOCs and home equity.

  • Understand how AI-driven search and assistants are reshaping how homeowners discover lenders, and position Trovy to be surfaced and cited on those surfaces.

  • Own the content and digital-PR roadmap that earns Trovy placement, citations, and mentions on the rate tables, review sites, and comparison content that traditional and AI search draw from.

Team & Vendor Management

  • Manage external affiliate and partnership consultants and vendors, setting clear expectations and accountability.

  • Identify when to bring affiliate and partnership capabilities in-house and help build internal headcount over time.

What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or channel/business development, ideally in consumer fintech, mortgage, or a direct-to-consumer lending or financial product.

  • Proven track record building and scaling an affiliate program, including rate table and review site placements.

  • Experience sourcing, negotiating, and managing B2B2C partnerships in real estate, home services, or another referral-adjacent industry.

  • Working knowledge of RESPA Section 8 and other regulatory constraints on referral fees and co-marketing in lending, or the judgment to flag structures for compliance review.

  • Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and emerging AI search optimization.

  • Data-fluent: you can read attribution and partner performance reports and translate findings into action.

  • Strong negotiator and relationship manager who can structure a deal and spot when something is off-brand or non-compliant.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where you own the outcome, not just the workstream.

Why Join Us?
  • Compensation: Base Salary: $160,000–$195,000, commensurate with experience, meaningful equity compensation, and room to grow

  • Market Opportunity: Join a team tackling the $30T home equity market at a fast-growing company.

  • Early Impact: Help shape our operations from the ground up.

  • Location: On-site, NYC

  • Benefits: 401K account, company-paid dental, medical, vision and life insurance, flexible time off, Friday lunches, and more.
