Job Description

The Director, Physician Marketing will execute the digital marketing and communications strategy set forth by leadership within the Office of Physician Recruitment. Working closely with physician recruitment leaders and executive leadership, this position will manage email campaigns, develop compelling content for social media, and maintain a dedicated website aimed at engaging physicians and driving awareness to fuel pipeline growth. It is an ideal opportunity for a creative digital marketing specialist with a talent for crafting and refining content that strengthens our presence in the market and attracts top physician talent. This role will drive the strategy for digital marketing and communication for the Office of Physician Recruitment. Working closely with physician recruitment leaders and executive leadership to manage email campaigns, develop content for social media and dedicated website targeting physicians and driving awareness for pipeline growth. This is an ideal role for a creative marketing leader who can set direction and use data to optimize performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop content and messaging to highlight Northwell’s culture and attract physicians.
  • Oversee direct outreach (email campaigns) to drive pipeline development, including pre- and post-event outreach for conferences and career fairs.
  • Maintain a high-performing website and analytics foundation, including conversion optimization, SEO alignment, and tracking integrity.
  • Own marketing reporting and insights, building clear monthly summaries and recommending next actions based on performance.
  • Manage Marketing Infrastructure: Coordinate multiple platforms for marketing automation, website performance, analytics tracking, and compliance.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 7+ years of B2C marketing experience, including leadership ownership of strategy and results.
  • SEO and conversion optimization experience.
