Powering Performance Marketplaces in Digital Media

QuinStreet is a pioneer in powering decentralized online marketplaces that match searchers and “research and compare” consumers with brands. We run these virtual- and private-label marketplaces in one of the nation’s largest media networks.

Our industry leading segmentation and AI-driven matching technologies help consumers find better solutions and brands faster. They allow brands to target and reach in-market customer prospects with pinpoint segment-by-segment accuracy, and to pay only for performance results.

Our campaign-results-driven matching decision engines and optimization algorithms are built from over 20 years and billions of dollars of online media experience.

We believe in:

  • The direct measurability of digital media.
  • Performance marketing. (We pioneered it.)
  • The advantages of technology.

We bring all this together to deliver truly great results for consumers and brands in the world’s biggest channel.

About the role

QuinStreet is building AI into how people shop for insurance and how agencies and carriers sell it. We need one person to make the market understand it. You’ll own the story, calendar, and launches for QuinStreet’s AI work, including the askpond.com launch, QRP Professional Services for agencies and carriers, and our presence on AI agent platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Meta.

This is a builder role. You’ll write the plan, ship the announcements, place the stories, and turn product milestones into a steady stream of news, data, and executive thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI narrative and calendar: Build and run a rolling 12-month plan of launches, data releases, executive moments, and public stances across QuinStreet, QRP, askpond.com, and AI agent platforms.
  • Lead the askpond.com launch: Own pre-launch, launch week, and follow-on activity, including positioning, the “first” claim, the owned landing page, the wire release, press briefings, and proof metrics.
  • Grow QRP’s B2B voice: Create case studies, pursue trade-press placements, and deliver conference talks and webinars for insurance agencies and carriers.
  • Tell the AI-agent platform story: Turn integrations with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta, and agent protocols into news, and articulate our position on consumer consent and coverage transparency.
  • Run proprietary research: Commission consumer and industry surveys, and package QuinStreet data into recurring reports that the press cites.
  • Build executive thought leadership: Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts, op-eds, and talks, and prepare and book interviews with business and insurance trade press.
  • Manage the communications machine: Oversee the PR agency, wire service, media lists, owned newsroom, social channels, and the metrics that show what worked.
  • Keep communications compliant: Partner with legal and compliance on claims, regulated-product language, and partner approvals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in communications, PR, or product marketing, including launches you led end to end
  • Fluency in AI, with the ability to explain LLMs, AI agents, and platform integrations to reporters and carriers
  • Existing relationships with business, technology, or insurance and fintech press
  • Strong writing for press releases, executive posts, and op-eds that need little editing
  • Comfort turning data into stories and working with analysts on surveys
  • A track record of running many workstreams at once as a team of one, with agency support

Preferred

  • Background in insurance, insurtech, or financial services, including regulated claims and carrier partnerships
  • B2B experience selling to agencies or carriers
  • Experience launching on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms
