THE WORK:

We are looking for a Director of Content Strategy to report to the VP of Corporate Marketing and own how Ripple tells its story to the world. This is a senior leadership role with real scope: you will build and lead a high-performing team of writers, media producers, and social strategists, set the editorial vision across all channels, and drive the content strategy that fuels global brand awareness and go-to-market growth.

This role sits at the intersection of narrative, leadership, and business impact. You will shape how Ripple is understood by enterprise buyers, partners, policymakers, and the broader market and you will build the systems, team, and content engine that makes that storytelling scalable.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Define and scale Ripple's global content strategy owning editorial standards, voice, and content calendar to drive brand authority and demand generation across Ripple's owned channels.
  • Lead and develop a team of writers, social strategists, and multimedia producers, including managing managers. Set a high bar for quality, build a culture of craft, and create the conditions for the team to do their best work.
  • Be comfortable with directing traffic, acting as the ultimate decision maker related to how the Content organization prioritizes requests from across the company; and lead the team to think out of the box, taking big swings.
  • Partner with Communications to develop and amplify executive thought leadership, co-write high-impact announcements, and produce content that reflects a strong command of regulatory frameworks, macroeconomic trends, and the evolution of global finance.
  • Create innovative narratives for Ripple's suite of solutions translating complex product and technical details into clear, compelling stories for buyers, partners, and decision-makers.
  • Build and scale a high-velocity multimedia production engine overseeing video, YouTube, and social video content strategy with a focus on innovative formats that extend reach and deepen engagement.
  • Own the customer and partner evidence engine: build a library of case studies, testimonials, and assets mapped to key verticals and buyer personas.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing to develop content that drives measurable demand generation results gated reports, website copy, nurture campaigns tied to clear business outcomes.
  • Coach the content team to create scalable frameworks that balance centralized corporate storytelling with the flexibility to meet localized market needs and regional pipeline priorities.
  • Champion AI-native ways of working across the content organization finding new efficiencies without sacrificing quality or authenticity.
  • Measure what matters. Prepare and deliver presentations to Ripple's Leadership team on content's influence, narrative impact, and business contribution.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • 15+ years in content marketing, editorial, or content strategy, with a focus on B2B technology or fintech.
  • 8+ years building and managing teams, including managing managers with a track record of developing strong talent and holding a high bar.
  • Proven ability to lead content strategy at scale across a complex, global organization with multiple audiences and channels.
  • Strong editorial judgment and a demonstrated ability to set and maintain quality standards across a large, distributed team.
  • Equal parts strategist and creator able to set multi-year vision and still roll up your sleeves when it matters.
  • Data-driven with a clear point of view on what meaningful content metrics look like and how to tie content to business outcomes.
  • Background at a B2B tech brand, fintech, or financial services company with a strong content culture.
  • Fluent in how AI is reshaping content production and distribution and what that means for how high-performing marketing teams operate.
  • Genuine curiosity about how technology is transforming financial systems globally. You don't need to be a subject matter expert on day one, but you should be excited to get there.
For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. 
NY Annual Base Salary Range
$196,000—$240,000 USD
